Going Down A Pant Size … It IS A Big Deal!

Going Down A Pant Size … It IS A Big Deal!

Who gets excited when they go down a pant size? If you are anything like me, you have been on a diet roller coaster most of your life. I can remember really starting to have trouble with my weight when I was 23 years old, so I feel like most of my life I have been losing weight, gaining it back, repeat. Some days I thought it would just be best to be “pleasantly fluffy” and eat that gallon of ice cream (ice cream is my all time favorite food). However, reality is that this is not a healthy lifestyle (though I wish it was), and something needed to change. Diabetes is in my family history and I need to do everything I possibly can to not have to go down that road. My labs have all been within normal range (thankfully), and I made the decision to keep them that way.

For the past 3 years I have been associated with a health and wellness company that I truly love.  I have helped several people find health and success. However, you know what I wasn’t doing? #takingcareofme.

Everyone’s Plexus clock ticks a little differently. Some people see quick results, others it takes some time and for some people they are just not at the right place to focus on themselves. That was me. So three months ago I decided I was sick and tired of being sick and tired.

So for the past month, I have been CONSISTENTLY (and boy is that helpful) taking my Plexus products, watching what I eat (I am NOT a clean eater and probably never will be), started walking and started listening to my body. And it was amazing.

So 12+ pounds gone…8 inches gone…and what’s even better is this is a lifestyle, not something that I can’t continue. This is the road to healthy. And that’s WHY I was so excited when I went down a pant size. Check out my quick video when I tried on clothes yesterday.. I couldn’t contain my excitement and I totally embarrassed my kids (down a pant size AND embarrassed the kids; that’s a win/win).  Here’s the link: https://youtu.be/XmXfwIfNjo0.

Here’s to getting healthy .. at the age of 53.

Until next time,

Much happiness and health with a BIG splash of humor,
